Mr. Colbert,

It is my honor to inform you the Board of Directors of the North
American Saddle Mule Association has awarded you the 2005 Lifetime
            Achievement Award.

Those nominating had this to say about you.

“It is my feeling Ken Colbert has gone beyond the call of duty in
getting NASMA back into the hands of the membership during some very
trying times in 2005. He invested hours of personal time, a vast
wealth of knowledge and a great sum of money to have the membership
gain control of an organization he feels very strongly about.”

“Ken is very concerned about the organizations growth and the
proper promotion of mules and donkeys to fellow NASMA members and
            the general public.”

“He is involved in quality breeding programs for both mules and
donkeys, enjoys both trail riding and showing his animals, and has
the welfare of the NASMA youth program at heart.”

“I think Ken Colbert meets all of the guidelines set by this
association as a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. He has only
the best interest of this association in his heart. He wants to
maintain the association for his children to enjoy in years to come.
He is a considerate, articulate and truly cares about his mules and
            donkeys.”

This recognition by the Board of Directors of NASMA has also been
conferred on:Paul and Betsy Hutchins, Denton, TX
