New Web Features Report for 2007

Points

  • Results  for 2004-2005 have been entered into the Data Base with the exception of three shows for 2005.  Wyoming is missing and we do not have the number of Entries for the Tri-State and North Carolina State Fair Shows.
  • Life-Time Awards.  Automation was completed to calculate Register of Merits, Performance Versatility, Superior Events and Championships.  Calculations and page developed in response to a request from Sanctioning Chair Julie Waugh..
  • Award Certificates to be mailed December 2007 with plans on being more timely in the future.

Web

  • Development of a Member's AreaIdea by Sue King, Secretary.  Members may:
    • Maintain their own Address and Phone Numbers
    • Pre-format PayPal Membership Forms for renewals.
    • View Registration records, generate pre-formatted Transfer Reports (for print).
    • Check where each animals is with points toward a Life-Time Award.  Developed in response to a request from member & BOD Donna Wilburn.
    • Verify and submit On-Line VTP hours.
  • The Show Division:
    • A new Section for the Show Ring designed to assist all members by keeping them abreast of any concerns, problems or changes.  Concept and content submitted by Judges Chair, Julee Smith.
    • Public look-up and display of all accumulated Points for an animal.  Developed in response to a request from member Dale Ann Gramman.
    • A page to Congratulate all Life-Time Award Title earners and recognize their Achievements.
  • The VTP Division:
    • On-Line Submit and tracking of VTP hours.  Thanks goes to your VTP Chair, Stacey Golian for her efforts stream-lining these submits.

The Web is for, and belongs to, the Membership.  Committee Members consist of every NASMA member who submits content or has an idea!
