Just wanted to give you a brief view of the overall success of the
first ever NASMA booth set up at Horsefest in Springfield,
Missouri this past weekend.
The free drawing box yielded over 80 names and the three day event was
a huge success in my book. The pictures and slide show did draw people
in, which in turn gave me a chance to talk to them about mules and
donkeys, the organization and the VTP program for those who were not
interested in the showing aspect of NASMA.
I
think that it would be very beneficial for us to try and do this again
in the future at this event and at other equine events around the
country.
As soon has I have compiled the names into a data base, I think that
we should send a letter out giving them a special thanks for stopping
by out booth, send another membership brochure and include a list of
the names and who won what out of the drawing box. I also think that
we should give them some information in the letter about the All
Star Show that is coming up since the majority of the people are
from the Missouri area. If anybody else has some information that they
think should be included in the letter, please send it to Melanie or
to myself.
Sue King has asked that I write a little article about the show for
the Mule Magazine, so I will be doing that as well.
I was only able to take a couple of pictures and have included them as
well.
