LOREN BASHAM and Hoosier Daddy compete in Extreme Cowboy Race
|
Loren
Basham of Pair-A-Dice Mules, Belle, Missouri had the pleasure of
competing against 29 horses Saturday, June 23 with his daughters mule,
Hoosier Daddy, at the Extreme Cowboy Race. The Saddle and Sirloin
Club, located south of Kansas City, Missouri, hosted the Craig Cameron
event, with excellent facilities for the huge crowd of enthusiastic
spectators attending the three day event.
Basham, a mule trainer by trade, competed in the Pro-Division against
29 horses. At the end of the day his score put him in 10th place,
securing him a spot for the Sunday competition.
It appeared Hoosier Daddy was a crowd favorite from the sounds of the
cheering and clapping coming from the audience both days. He and Loren
ended up in a very respectable eighth position on Sunday.
Congratulations!! |
