At the Board of Directors meeting in Shelbyville on July 9 NASMA is
starting on its next journey.
In 2006 Tim Doud stepped up and took over a struggling NASMA. He
held on to the foundation of our association so that we could in
time move forward. We are very appreciative of his effort. A great
buckle with his name, President and the dates of service was awarded
to him during the award ceremony at Shelbyville. It will be sent to
him since he was unable to be with us.
The Board elected new officers to start our next chapter.

As president, I want to introduce myself to you, the membership.
I have been a member of NASMA since 1994. I have served as a Board
of Director, the Vice President, and have been several Committee
Chairs. My husband, Skip, and I have 8 mules and 3 Mammoth donkeys
on our farm in Oklahoma. I have shown my mule Reba McEnmule for a
number of years.
I am a first grade teacher in my other life and I have been teaching
for 34 years. My husband is also a teacher. We have 3 children and 5
grandchildren. So, I understand the struggles of those of us that
want to show and trail ride with our longears.
If there is anything that I can help you with, please feel free to
call or email me. I will do my best to come up with an answer.
NASMA is only as good as the members that participate in the
organization. So, if you have an interest let us know and we will
put you to work!
