 Dear Fellow NASMA Members,
February is here and 2007 is already one month old. Many of you are
counting the days until your prized mare will deliver a new mule.
Surely this new foal will be the next NASMA World Champion or a
great trail mule. One thing is for sure, it will be a delight to see
your new addition running around the pasture.
Be sure to let everyone know about your new foal by registering with
NASMA. You can log on to
www.nasma.net for forms and information. Online registration is
coming soon.
Now is also a great time to get involved with NASMA. We are now
thinking about 2007 NASMA elections. So be sure to renew your
registration or join us so you can participate in the elections for
the coming year. If you would like to serve on a committee, let me,
know. You can nominate yourself or someone else for a NASMA Board of
Director position. The web site has a list of all Board of Director
positions up for election in 2007.
In other news, the 2007 show season is currently underway. NASMA is
looking forward to several great shows for this year, including the
Florida State Fair in February and the All Star show in Missouri in
August. These shows have always been great for spectators and
exhibiters alike, and look to be even better this year.
This year NASMA will hold its fall Board of Directors meeting in
conjunction with a VTP ride. This will be a great time for members
to attend a meeting and enjoy time with their mules.
Remember, even though it may be cold outside, your mules and donkeys
still enjoy a good rub from you. Get out and enjoy your animals.
