Yearling Longe Line Rules
|
- The exhibitors enter the ring one at a time.
- When the whistle blows, 90 seconds are allowed to walk and
jog/trot in both directions.
- After all exhibitors have lounged their mules, they are stood
up, as in a halter class, and judged on conformation suitable to a
performance mule.
- Judges are instructed to judge 70% on way of going suitable to
a pleasure mule and 30% on conformation suitable to a pleasure
mule.
- Equipment is a rope halter or flat halter and lounge line
attached to the halter by the side ring or center, not to go over
the nose, under the chin or over the poll.
- Exhibitors are to dress appropriately, as if presenting a
halter mule in competition. Hunt Seat exhibitors may dress in
English attire if entry is thought to be a hunt seat prospect.
