Competition Points are kept on NASMDA members' mules and donkeys
which helps to determine sires and dams that when crossed are
producing top-quality performance mules and donkeys.

The following rule changes have been approved by the NASMDA Rules Committee.
2027 Proposed NASMDA Rule Changes
Members of the NASMDA Rules Committee are:

The NASMDA Rules Committee met via conference call at 7:00 PM, April 8, 2026. All rule change submissions were either approved or rejected unanimously. Thank you to all members who submitted changes for taking an active role in the future of NASMDA. Your participation is greatly appreciated! These rules will be voted on by the BOD at the annual meeting in July and then if approved will be adopted nto the 2027 NASMDA Rule Book.
