FROM THE PRESIDENT TO THE COMMITTEE CHAIRS

Dear NASMA Committees,

The Great Celebration is just 90 days away and so is our Annual Meeting. This year NASMA has once again put in place the Ways and Means Committee to provide better use of our funds and direct the Committees budgets. To better serve our membership NASMA will use our capability of online voting prior to our Annual Meeting.

With this being said it is very important for your committees to complete your committee reports and submit your budget in a timely fashion for review and consideration by the Ways and Means Committee prior to the Annual Meeting. An online vote will be completed prior to the Annual meeting to expedite the meeting and allow ease of voting. I know this meeting is often faced with the possibility of a lack of a quorum , members that have not arrived, and each of us needing to be in an arena working, this should provide some relief to this portion of the Annual meeting.

Committee deadline date for reports and budget request will be May 1st, 2015. If your report and budget request are not submitted at that time, they will not appear on the Agenda for the yearly meeting and your Budget will not be reviewed by the Ways and Means Committee. This year your Budget can not be considered at the yearly meeting if not voted online. Your budget will go thru the Ways and Means Committee and placed for an online vote for budget approval. Online voting will take place June 1, 2015.

Please send all Committee Reports and Budget Requests for 2016 to Sue King, NASMA Executive Secretary by May 1st 2015.

It is your work with the NASMA Committees that keep our organization a vital and working Breed Association. I thank you for all of your work in the past and your continued dedication and assistance you provide to NASMA.

Sincerely,
Peggy Hamilton
NASMA PRESIDENT
